I guess I'm making tags for lists of interesting things I find around. Only positive today!

Behemoths
First order of business! Dreamwidth's been very proactive in protecting our privacy rights (think, fighting those unnecessary and intrusive age verification laws in court). You can always check out dw_advocacy or dw_news for the updates, but for a good summary, may I suggest osteophage's post How Online Privacy Has Been Championed by Dreamwidth? Spread the word! It's very important that people see that sometimes we are succeeding at telling megacorps and despicable lawmakers to fuck right off, we need hope and DW can provide some!

Bits and Bobs
In much lesser but hopefully just as positive news, I'll share some stuff I like.

I finally got around to watching this video by Jocat, A FFXIV Quiz, But the Questions are Stupid - Quizzical Engagement, which is a Jeopardy-style collection of questions about often inconsequential details or even memes of Final Fantasy XIV. The guests in the video are Jesse Cox, GirlDM, RathGames, and Shenpai. I am familiar with all these people except for GirlDM, but currently I mostly watch RathGames.

A friend of mine brought to my attention the existence of the song Chit Chat by Beach Weather. It's pretty good.

I've really been liking the Webtoon Miro In Memory by YU ISU. The art, especially the expressions, is fantastic, so check it out for that at least.
